Rhoda S. Narins, M.D., and her staff have been doing liposuction surgery since 1982 when it was first introduced into the United States. She trained in Paris with Dr. Yves Illouz and Dr. Pierre Fournier, the doctors who originated this procedure.
Dr. Narins has devoted her life to providing the very best and safest of medical care. She was one of the first doctors to bring liposuction to the United States. She is a member of the Tumescent Liposuction Council and the Liposuction Task Force for the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery. She is listed in "Best Doctors in America," Woodward & White "Aesthetic Surgery" and was named one of the country's leading cosmetic surgeons in Town & Country Magazine. She has been a spokesperson for the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and has chaired multiple symposia on cosmetic surgery and liposuction worldwide.
