Neck Lift Combination Procedure

Dr. Narins offers a minimally-invasive neck lift procedure that is ideal for many busy women and men who want to minimize their downtime and recovery period. After administering local anesthesia, she removes unwanted fat from the neck and under the chin with liposculpture surgery. The initial procedure is complete in about 30 minutes. Patients can return to their normal activities in about 3 days.

At a subsequent visit, Dr. Narins may use Thermage to tighten, firm, and sculpt the skin on the neck and chin. This procedure uses radiofrequency energy to firm existing collagen under the skin and encourage the body to increase collagen production. Although some patients will see immediate improvements, most will notice gradual improvements for up to 6 months as new collagen is produced. Any minor swelling or redness usually fades within 24 hours.
