Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra Aesthetic is FDA-approved for correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles. Sculptra is a sculpting agent that restores volume to:

• Correct the signs of aging
• Fill out hollow areas of the temples, cheeks, chin and under the eyes
• Define the jaw line.

Sculptra is not recommended for use in and around the lips.

Sculptra is a safe, synthetic, and biocompatible material called poly-L-lactic acid that is injected below the surface of the skin in the area of fat loss. It provides a gradual and significant increase in skin thickness, improving the appearance of folds and sunken areas. Results are not immediate, as your skin takes time to rebuild collagen, but can last for up to two years.

Multiple injection sessions are required and typically scheduled about 3 weeks apart. No skin testing is required.
