The removal of moles, warts, "liver spots", age spots, lipomas, cysts, pre-cancers and skin cancers is accomplished through a variety of methods, including surgical removal, cryosurgery (freezing), lasers, electrosurgery, and applications of chemicals. The cosmetic appearance after removal as well as the prevention of cancer recurrences is carefully considered in treatment.
