How It Works
The laser emits short, high-intensity pulses of light at a specific wavelength that is absorbed by the pigment of the tattoo ink. The concentrated pigment in the ink absorbs the light much more than the surrounding tissue. This high concentration of light causes the ink to break down, and eventually be absorbed by the body. The surrounding tissue is unaffected.
