How It Works
For liposculpture with the tumescent technique, a large quantity of tumescent solution is injected into the treatment areas to control pain, inhibit bleeding, and engorge the tissue. Dr. Narins then inserts a micro-cannula (very thin, hollow tube) through which the fat is suctioned out of the body. Most patients recover quickly and with little pain. You usually can resume normal activities immediately after surgery and return to light activity, including work, within 1-3 days.
